Kent E. Dicks

Chairman, Founder and CEO

Kent Dicks has over 25 years of successful entrepreneurial experience providing dynamic and strategic leadership in the demanding environments of Information Technology, Engineering and Aerospace/Defense. As a results-oriented leader and entrepreneur, with a strong performance record, Mr. Dicks brings his expertise in identifying niches within specific markets and his aptitude for innovation, to the field of Telehealth, specifically remote patient monitoring.

In 2006, Mr. Dicks formed MedApps, Inc., taking his unique vision and business model for a wireless health monitoring system from concept to market innovator, at the forefront of mHealth (mobile health) today. Under Mr. Dicks’ leadership, MedApps has developed a comprehensive remote patient monitoring system that incorporates wireless, M2M and cloud computing technologies to bring user-friendly hardware, with robust software and applications, to deliver a pioneering healthcare solution to market.

Mr. Dicks’ innovative work in this field has been acknowledged by industry and government organizations alike. As Founder and CEO of MedApps, Mr. Dicks actively speaks on industry and government panels, discussing wireless technology’s growing role in healthcare.

Patrick Braun

Director

Mr. Braun is an investor and currently resides in Brussels, Belgium.  

Robert Anciaux

Director

Mr. Anciaux has been self-employed as a venture capitalist in Europe and the United States, investing in various privately held commercial, industrial and real estate companies, in some of which he has served as a director.  Mr. Anciaux serves as a director of USANA  (a U.S. publicly held company) since 1990.  He also was the managing director of S.E.I., s.a., a consulting and investment management firm in Brussels, Belgium. 

Mr. Anciaux received an Ingénieur Commércial degree from L’ Ecole de Commerce Solvay Université Libre de Bruxelles. 

Jon McGarity

Director

Mr. McGarity is Executive Vice President of Campbell Alliance a leading  management consulting firm specializing in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry.  Mr. McGarity  has over 40 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry including senior management positions at GlaxoSmithKline, Bristol Myers Squibb, and Novartis (Sandoz Pharmaceuticals). During that time Mr. McGarity has served in various general management, sales, marketing, and managed care roles, having launched over 40 products and completed numerous business development deals..  Mr. McGarity served as Chairman for the Arizona BioIndustry Association .  Mr. McGarity is a Board Director at Cypress Biosciences Inc. (CYPB), and also serves  on the Boards of several early stage pharma/biotech companies including Apthera, GenBioPro, SynBuild, MedApps, Inc., and Restorative Biosciences. He also sits of the Boards of a number of life science organizations and university programs including the Arizona BioIndustry Association and the Global Advisory Council at Thunderbird School of Global Management.  Mr. McGarity founded and served as Vice Chairman, President and COO of Pharmaceutical Marketing Services, Inc. which was listed on NASDAQ. He has also functioned as the acting President/CEO for three biotech start up companies.
