March 2008 - Nokia Mobile Ruler

MedApps is the winner of the 2008 Nokia “Mobile Rules!” Business Plan competition, with the award ceremony held in Silicon Valley at the San Jose City Hall Rotunda.  The competition is considered an esteemed award for innovative mobile business plans, cutting-edge technologies, applications and services from developers and entrepreneurs from around the world (www.mobilerules.org). MedApps was selected as one of the 10 finalists that presented to a distinguished panel of judges made up of individuals from national and international venture capital firms and serial entrepreneurs. 

February 2008 - Frost & Sullivan Wireless Point of Care

MedApps is the proud recipient of the 2008 Frost & Sullivan North American Technology Innovation Award in the field of Wireless Point of Care.  The award is bestowed upon a company (or individual) that has carried out new research, which has resulted in innovation(s) that have or are expected to bring significant contributions to the industry in terms of adoption, change, and competitive posture. This award recognizes the quality and depth of a company’s research and development program as well as the vision and risk-taking that enabled it to undertake such an endeavor. 

December 2007 - Governors Celebration of Innovation - Startup Finalist

The Arizona Technology Council, in partnership with the Arizona Department of Commerce, selected MedApps as finalist for the Governor's Celebration of Innovation in the Startup category. The selection was based on the company's contribution to the business and technology community and its technological innovation.

MedApps was named to the Fierce Health IT Top 10 Healthcare IT Innovators for 2007, a prestigious distinction among Healthcare IT startups.  MedApps was recognized as having new and disruptive technology that will significantly impact the way that traditional healthcare is practiced today.
