Although technology is everywhere, from laptop computers to smart phones, the fact remains that the groups accounting for the largest share of healthcare costs, such as senior and impoverished populations, may not even have access to technology. This personal health device is less likely to be misused or abused in ways that are typically associated with cell phone and computer options for health monitoring. It is not meant to imply literally that seniors only use logbooks and adults/children only use smart phones.
