HealthAIR – Affordable Wireless Enabler will Help Bridge the Cost Barrier

HealthAIR (coming Q3 2010) is a small adapter designed to give off-the-shelf medical devices the ability to wirelessly transmit readings into the MedApps System via HealthPAL or HealthHUB.

HealthAIR will bring wireless connectivity to low-cost medical devices found in retail outlets and pharmacies, allowing them to be integrated into a cost-effective remote health monitoring system such as MedApps. Typically, wireless functionality can currently only be found in devices priced considerably higher.

When HealthAIR starts shipping, it will join the MedApps family of simple to use, low cost and highly mobile solutions for facilitating remote patient monitoring.
