Kris Vijay, MD, is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular medicine.Along with his directorship responsibilities at the SCRI, Dr. Vijay is also a practicing Noninvasive Cardiologist at Scottsdale Cardiovascular Center, Scottsdale, Arizona.

John Long, MD
Dr. Long is a retired Physician Analyst from McKesson Provider Technologies where he designed future software designs and requirements as well as updated the Emergency Room suite of products. His completed designs included electronic prescribing, medication reconciliation, disposition management and other proprietary concepts. Dr. Long previously served as Medical Director for the Disease Management division of McKesson Health Solutions responsible for high cost/high risk chronic condition enrollees, improvement of self-reliance, reduction of unnecessary utilization, clinical condition care plan compliance, adherence to national guidelines and improved clinical outcomes.
Dr. Long worked with Secretary Tommy Thompson of, was in the secret service under President Ford and President Reagan and was President Reagan’s personal physician at the western White House (Reagan Ranch).
